Lodging and Prices

We offer four different plans for classes and lodging. La Casa Escuela Rosa Silva is the best school in San Juan del Sur for affordable lodging and great spanish instruction.

Homestay with local family outside of the school – $225.00
20 hours of Spanish class
private room in the home of a local family for seven days
three meals a day

Homestay at Casa Escuela Rosa Silva – Two Meals per Day $180.00 includes:
20 hours of Spanish class
a private room in the casa escuela with shared bath
two meals a day
free use of kitchen, refrigerator and laundry facilities

Homestay at Casa Escuela Rosa Silva – One meal per day $170.00
includes:
20 hours of Spanish class
a private room in the casa escuela with shared bath
breakfast only
free use of kitchen, refrigerator and laundry facilities

Classes Only $120.00
includes:
20 hours of Spanish class
no lodging or meals included

Lessons and Homestay in Countryside - $200.00
El Pochote is a small community near to the border of Costa Rica and is 30 km from San Juan Del Sur. Here the student will experience simple country life. In addition to lessons students may participate in some common rural activities such as planting rice, corn, and beans. There is also horse back riding and fishing.

We also offer transportation from the airport to both schools. From the airport to San Juan del Sur is $100 and from the airport to Ometepe is $100.

Students may pay for classes on the first day of class. If you chose to study for more than one week, payment will be due the first day of each week. At this time, we accept U.S. dollars or Nicaraguan cordobas in cash only, please.
